Artist talk – Scarborough

I going to have an Artist talk in Scarborough in Yorkshire, England. Friday 18 March 2016, 1 pm. From ArtUnpackeds webpage: Join us this Friday lunchtime for a talk from Textil/Juvel artist Jessica Johannesson. Jessica will talk about her intricately knotted sculptural work, explaining the process and the ideas behind her work. We will also be joined by Katarina Karlsson, co-curator of the exhibition. Katarina is based at Konsthantverkscentrum, representing Swedish craft across the world. The talk takes place at Woodend in Scarborough, on Friday 18 March, 1pm. Read more here and here.

IASPIS/Konstnärsnämnden – LONDON

Nu är jag på plats i London! De första dagarna har gått till att komma på plats i lägenheten och försöka lokalisera mig i området och staden. Om några dagar får jag tillgång till min ateljé hos Cubitt. Som jag tidigare nämnt så har jag tilldelats IASPIS/Konstnärsnämndens ateljéstipendie i London, England. Under ett år, 15 september 2015 till 30 augusti 2016, ska jag bo och arbeta i London.

Hall of Fame – Art laboration festival

Den 5 – 23 maj medverkade jag i ”Hall of Fame – Art laboration festival 2015”. Under tre veckor arbetade jag på plats i Järnhallen på Ringön i Göteborg. Fram till den 7 juni kan man se utställningen i konsthallen.   Utställningen har öppet: 24 maj – 7 juni Måndag – fredag 12 – 17 Lördag – söndag 12 – 16   För mer information se här och här.
